Accessibility statement

Believe & Achieve Recovery is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards, so that anyone can reach us and use this website — regardless of ability or the technology they rely on.
Conformance status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities — including vision, hearing, motor, cognitive and neurological differences — and are the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California law.
Measures we take
Accessibility is built into how this site is made, not bolted on afterward. We use semantic HTML and landmarks, provide text alternatives for meaningful images, label every form field and announce errors, maintain sufficient color contrast, ensure full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link, and respect the operating system's reduced-motion setting. We test with automated tooling and manual review, including assistive technology.
Accessibility tools on this site
This website includes a built-in accessibility panel (the accessibility button in the lower-left corner) with genuine, saved preferences: larger text, boosted contrast, a more readable font, always-underlined links, and reduce motion. These adjust the site itself rather than layering an overlay on top of it.
Third-party content
Some features may rely on third-party services (for example, spam protection on our forms). While we choose vendors with accessibility in mind, we may not fully control their content. If any such element creates a barrier for you, please tell us and we will find an accessible alternative.
Feedback and how to reach us
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter any barrier, or need information or a service in a different format, please call us at (818) 391-0246 (answered 24/7) or reach us through our Contact page. We treat accessibility requests as a priority and aim to respond within two business days.
Formal concerns
If you have contacted us about an accessibility barrier and are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter. We take these concerns seriously and will work with you in good faith to resolve them promptly.
